You wake up to the sound of the radio.

For a second, you forget where you are. You dreamt about being lost in a vast and empty darkness, with only the sound of radio static guiding you towards... something. You imagine yourself outside, feeling the morning breeze against your face and hearing the birds chirp their morning song.

The voice from the radio brings you back to reality. You know that today will be like the others, that in a moment you will be seated at your desk and following the instructions. You will do this because there's nothing else to do—because it's the only thing you can do.

Station 59 is a single-player narrative experience about the monotony of a life in isolation, and an outside force which threatens to cause change. It will take between 20-40 minutes to complete, and is intended to be played in one sitting.

This game was really AWESOME! I greatly appreciate the simple, yet, atmospheric vibe going on!

I really enjoyed playing this game! It was very atmospheric and I liked how typing the codes lulled you into a false sense of security before something unexpected happened. My only criticism is that I feel like there were a few too many codes to type in, but that's just my personal opinion.

amazing game, finished it (off screen) keep it up. Starts at 7:05.

I love toilet water

10/10 most realistic game I've played in years

(+1)

Great game! but why drink the water from the toilet? Hahaha...

Amazing! ❤️

😊👍

The concept here was really interesting, I had fun putting in the codes and frequencies, nothing else was much happening really which could be changed to add more horror to it, but otherwise it was great, good work :)

Well Done!!

hi, big thx for the game. greetings from rosti 😉🙏

Loved it. The ending could have been expanded on. I liked the little cut scenes, even though they were simple it was a nice touch.

Loved the atmosphere! There was always this uncertainty of whether or not whatever was outside the bunker was going to break in or not, which made for very tense feelings. I really enjoyed the simplicity of the gameplay too—in horror games, feeling stuck on a puzzle or something really breaks immersion in my opinion.

My only qualm is that the endings feel like they could've been more fleshed out. Like, the endings feel a little too simple (unless you were going for simple endings so the player has to interpret what happens?).

Overall, great job! Looking forward to whatever new games you'll release :)

Thanks for playing! That's definitely a fair criticism. I wanted to leave them open-ended, but I can understand how they might feel a bit anticlimactic. Something to think about for next time c:

I love the idea of this game. It was creepy without really having to be creepy. Great job! I do wish that a little more stuff happened while writing the codes down.  Also , love the amount of toilet paper lol Your game is last in the video and starts at 15:29

THIS IS THE CREEPIEST GAME i was full on going insain

Hey, thanks a lot for playing and sharing your feedback! You brought up some really interesting ideas at the end, and it's definitely worth thinking about if a longer format across multiple days would have served this story better. Since it was originally for a 10 day game jam, I made the choice to keep the game short and contained, but I'll keep this in mind for the next one! c:

I just have to say how impressed I am, you have managed to masterfully create such a feeling of dread for the player with such a limited design. The simple foreshadowing to the story was great, it really makes you look at the plot differently when playing the game. When I first played the game I was expecting a more forward horror event, as if the bunker would be torn into and you had to survive your post.

Great game, can’t wait to see what other ideas that you have.

Hey! Your comment made my day c:

Thanks so much for playing and taking the time to share your thoughts. I'm still very new to making games (this is the first one I've released), and I honestly wasn't sure what people would think of this, so the response I've gotten has been really incredible c:

I should have another one coming out in a few months, so keep an eye out for that!

The game's really interesting and I was really invested in it. Great job for making a horror game with just atmosphere.

Here's my channel for other games I have played. https://www.youtube.com/c/Levont

This game was so fun!  Wow, that was a lot of toilet paper.

SCP-001 "When Day Breaks" inspired?

Hadn't heard of it until now, though that sure is an interesting take on the voices outside c:

When you get immersed it's actually pretty good.

this felt like a fallout game

good

I liked how it physically got difficult to play the game like in real life i felt affected.

(+1)

This was quite the experience. I love trying to focus on sending these "codes" while people, events, etc try to harm you. The mystery of this game is what definitely shines the most! IT'S A MUST PLAY! AMAZING JOB!

Thanks! Loved your video c:

This was an interesting experience! How many endings are there? I got 2.
